Barb and I have known each other since high school, over 50 years now! We have made memories going on ski trips, going to each others weddings, and watching our children grow up. We have shared our ups and downs as best friends do and we have always been there for each other. When we were young we enjoyed playing soccer together and played on the high school team whilst at the same time played in a co-ed league. As we got older we both had children and now have our grandchildren. We meet up and share our stories and what ages all of them are now and the funny things they get up to. We both love to dance and have ever since those Friday nights of driving her Dads car over the border to Friar Tucks or to the Bashes at the East Winds Inn on Boundary Road ...great times for sure. Never ever have I fallen out with Barb. I will love her for always.❤️

Kel and I have also been friends since high school, so going back over 50 years! Kel and I have had many similarities over the years of our friendship. One of them is that we both have British parents. If I would tell my parents I was going over to Kel’s they would say okay, alright that’s fine without a worry in the world. My parents knew I loved her Mum & Dad and they were British after all... what trouble could I ever get up to right?! We also shared a love in our younger years for the Bay City Rollers LOL She was going to marry Eric and I was going to marry Les. Kelly had a career in the hairdressing business and I gave her quite the challenge bringing my head of hair for her to practice her blow drys on when she was in training haha. Even though Kelly now lives far away in Nova Scotia, she will always be close in my heart. Love Ya Kel ❤️

Tara is my bright, beautiful mother of my grand babies and is my daughter-in-law. She is a star in my life that brings me so much joy and happiness. I see her care for my son Steve and my grand babies Callum & Lacey and I feel blessed for whom she is. Kindness and Gentleness, giving constantly to her family and friends is her self. A Hug from Tara is like medicine under the skin. It's immediate and so comforting. Tara and I keep each other grounded many times a day with chats and check ins. She may live 3 hours away but Tara is very close in my heart and always will be. ❤️

Bonnie and I met through being hockey Moms. We loved our carpooling together to tournaments all over from Boston to the other side of Toronto. The times we shared then, laughing away every minute, it was clear to me we would always be close. When I struggled through a health set back, Bonnie was there for me. She made a difference for me during my toughest days and made them bearable. She often held my hand as I was about to cry again and told me it was going to be alright and it was! I believed her and she was right. Her kindness, fun spirit, love for life and sense of humour is something we have shared over the years and I simply just love being around her. She has made a difference to me for a very along time and love her very much. ❤️

We met through a mutual friend when we were 18 or 19 years old and hit it off right away! We have been good friends ever since. Guy's father gave us both nicknames in the 80's when we were working at a church where the deacon was Arch Deacon Clarke. That's how the nicknames came to be, they became Archie (Mark) and Clarke (Guy), to this day that's how we refer to each other. We have played sports together such as softball and hockey. Camping was also a common interest. We enjoy crop inspecting in Western Quebec and Eastern Ontario whilst driving back from our beer runs. We also on occasion worked together. We enjoyed travelling around Quebec & Ontario watching my son Bobby play hockey. One of our favourite things to do now is tell stories over a few beers or a bottle of Wiser’s.

We met through Ray's brother Guy at the age of 20. We played hockey together, Golf together and live in the same neighbourhood. Myself, Ray and his brother Guy have a weekly "Bromance Breakfast" (Marie's name for it haha). We go back a long time and Ray also on occasion went with Guy and I watching Bobby play hockey in Quebec and Ontario. Some of our best times were camping in the bush with bonfires, we can't count the laughs we've had together.

Bobby is one of my best friends and is my son. We are more than father and son. We’ve enjoyed so much fun over the years. We’ve been there for each other numerous times! We've travelled all over for sports and camping. We have had some of our best times just sitting at the campfire in our backyard, myself, Bobby and Grampy.

Steve and I love to share morning or evening jokes by text or messenger. Marie took me to meet Steve and his wife Tara almost 6 years ago. We visited with Steve during Covid time and had to keep our distance in the garage. I saw Steve look at his Mum knowing that they couldn’t hug but they both wanted to, I knew the way he looked at his Mother that day that he was a fine young man.

Lacey is our Granddaughter, her parents are Steve and Tara. She is 2 years old, she is a wild one! Faster and higher are always better with Lacey, she loves to have fun, socialize, and has the most contagious laugh. She is a very hard worker, she loves going to work in the barn with her dad and grandpa.

Callum is our grandson, his parents are Steve and Tara. Callum is 5 years old, he may start off hesitant and shy but once he warms up to you, you'll be friends for life! Callum is kind-hearted, he loves to act like a goof and is a dinosaur expert! He is very compassionate and always helps an animal or friend in need.

Finley (Fin) is our grandson. His parents are Rebecca and Chris. Fin is 6 years old, he is very protective of his family. Fin is very considerate, he is a hockey enthusiast (runs in his blood), and he loves any outdoor activity, he loves to play Golf and goes with his dad every chance he gets. He is an old soul and loves the company of adults.

Leif is our grandson, his parents are Rebecca and Chris. He is 6 years old, Leif is incredibly creative, loves art and has an amazing imagination. He adores dressing up, especially as Spider-man or Captain America! He loves hockey but swimming is one of his favourite activities.

Knox is our grandson, his parents are Rebecca and Chris. He is 3 years old. He is a hockey fanatic! if you have a hockey stick you are a friend of Knox's. He could walk in skates before he could walk on his own feet. He is extremely giving and loves hugs. He is sweet and gentle but can hold his own against his big brothers.

Romi is our granddaughter, her parents are Rebecca and Chris. She is the youngest grandchild (at the moment) born in December 2024. Romi loves her big brothers, she spends her day soaking up all their attention. she's learning new skills everyday, she loves when people play with her. Romi is always a happy baby.
